A floral design studio dedicated to creating intentional event designs, immersive landscapes, and heirloom gardens that merge creativity with purpose.
With a mindful approach to native and perennial species, our work celebrates the beauty and resilience of nature, crafting spaces that inspire connection and tell meaningful stories.
Experiential landscape design is about creating meaningful connections with flowers, whether in the fleeting beauty of an event or the lasting charm of a garden. It’s the art of designing spaces that invite you to pause, immerse yourself, and truly appreciate the elegance of nature. From vibrant floral arrangements for special occasions to thoughtfully cultivated gardens that endure for generations, we craft experiences that celebrate the timeless allure of flowers in every setting.
As a florist, Christie Tarleton uses what's local and in-season from Nashville/Middle Tennessee flower farmers and often gathers materials herself from the surrounding landscape on her and her husband's organic vegetable farm. In the "off-season" she takes to foraging and responsibly importing from as many small U.S. farms as possible. Her work as a stylist is botanically and seasonally focused, taking cues from nature to bring together the already abundant beauty seasonal flowers have to offer.
After studying at Parsons New School for Design, Christie has worked with Flower Girl-NYC, Apprenticed at Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture and has hosted her own pop-up shops in Brooklyn, NY and Nashville, TN, to curate her personal style and build her floral and farming experience.
Six Boots Farm
Bells Bend, Tennessee
Christie and her husband Will Tarleton manage Six Boots Farm, a micro-farm in Historic Bells Bend, just outside Metropolitan Nashville. The farm focuses on cultivating native plants, perennials, and heirloom varieties of herbs and vegetables, all grown using biodynamic and sustainable practices to foster soil health and ecological balance. A perennial test garden on the property promotes biodiversity and serves as a model for sustainable growing. In addition to managing a small flock of Swiss Valais sheep, Will grows organic produce for local restaurants during the growing season and cultivates flowers and plants for Christie’s floral and gardening projects.
